Personal Context

What is Personal Context?

Personal Context is the concept iKho uses to describe the context of personal experiences. It brings together time, situations, related signals and connections between events so a record retains the background of when it happened.

Understand AI Memory

The background of a record

TimeRecording start times and time markers help place content back into the sequence of events.
Related contentEarlier and later conversation, along with text notes, add discussion background to a statement.
SituationLocation and weather are optional clues. Whether they are recorded depends on user choices and feature conditions.

Example uses

Meeting context

The same phrase, “deliver next week,” may refer to different projects in different meetings. Reviewing it alongside the recording time, surrounding discussion and text notes helps explain what it refers to.

Mobile filming

Place sound, images and their timing back into the same experience to help understand the background of the material. This is an area of product exploration described on the website. Refer to product information for specific device capabilities.

Limits

A record preserves only the clues that have been captured, rather than the complete experience. Missing or incorrect context can also affect understanding.

Body sensing and multimodal timelines are areas of exploration shown on the iKho website. Capabilities may vary across clients and versions. Read the product information and Privacy Policy for the scope of recording and processing rules.

Frequently asked questions

How does Personal Context relate to AI Memory?
Personal Context provides time, situations and related clues for a record; AI Memory focuses on how these clues are organized, searched and used again. This is how iKho understands the relationship between the two.
Does recording location create a continuous location trail?
The public Privacy Policy states that location is off by default for iOS recordings. After a user enables it, a single location snapshot is captured at the start of an eligible cloud recording; no continuous location trail is stored. Read the Privacy Policy for specific options and processing rules.
